Fleximoov® 30 Cream: Each gm of cream contains Methyl Salicylate BP 300 mg & Menthol USP 80 mg.

Methyl Salicylate is used topically as a counterirritant and relieves pain by suppressing the release of prostaglandins. Upon topical application, it is absorbed through the skin and is used for the relief of pain in rheumatic conditions and painful muscles or joints. Studies have shown that first-pass metabolism exists in the skin, with esterase rapidly hydrolyzing salicylate esters to release the active salicylate in both the epidermis and dermis.

Upon topical application, Menthol dilates the blood vessels, causing a sensation of coldness on the skin, leading to a faster onset of action. Menthol functions as a penetration enhancer either due to its vasodilation properties or because Menthol readily penetrates the skin.

Joint pain & inflammation, muscle pain, backache, and minor arthritis.

Apply to the affected areas no more than 3 to 4 times daily. Methyl Salicylate combined with Menthol relaxes tight muscles and increases circulation, making exercise more comfortable and prolonged. It also helps reduce muscle aches and soreness after exercise.

For external use only. Use only as directed. Keep away from children to avoid accidental ingestion. Do not swallow. Do not bandage tightly. Keep away from the eyes, mucous membranes, and broken or irritated skin. If skin redness or excessive irritation develops, pain persists for more than 10 days, or if arthritis-like conditions occur in children, discontinue use and consult a physician.

Store between 15 °C and 30 °C. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
