Pneumoconiosis (lung disease caused by inhaling dust or other particles). It does not suppress the cough but rather helps clear mucus from the lungs.

A: Bromoxol® is available in syrup form and should be taken as directed by your doctor. The general dosing guidelines are: Adults: Take 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls, three times a day. Initially, 4 teaspoonfuls, three times daily, then adjust as needed. Children: Under 2 years: ¼ teaspoonful, three times daily. 2-5 years: ½ teaspoonful, three times daily. 5-10 years: 1 teaspoonful, three times daily.
