Rabeprazole

Description
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by specific inhibition of the H+/K+-ATPase, the ‘Proton Pump’ of the gastric parietal cell.

Indications
Swallow Rabeprazole capsule whole with a glass of water. The capsule must not be chewed or crushed. For the treatment of duodenal ulcers take Rabeprazole capsule delayed-release tablets after a meal. For Helicobacter pylori eradication take Rabeprazole capsule with food. For all other indications Rabeprazole capsule can be taken with or without food.

Tagus® capsule 10 mg: Each box contains 3×10 capsules in Alu-Alu blister pack.
Tagus® capsule 20 mg: Each box contains 5×10 capsules in Alu-Alu blister pack.
